Eliminating Risk, Fees & Taxes

Growing up, I always loved being around animals. I drew animals (as art is apart of my expression) and eventually worked in a veterinarian hospital then to pet grooming, which was my favorite job. So I decided, let's take it further.

So I attended California State University Chico, and studied Animal Science. A highlight, as a student was working the farm! Gathering cattle from the pastures, to the milking station. On this farm, is where a female student taught me how to shake a hand properly during  a tri-tip lunch. This university is where I broke my shyness, by forcing myself to take a speech and debate class. 

Two years into it, I couldn't see myself as a veterinarian 10 years from then, so I moved back to Southern California, into a fashion arts program, where I earned my B.S. Degree in Fashion Marketing and Management. This is where I learned the power of collaboration and entrepreneurship. I started and managed new programs and events that didn't exist before. 

Fast forward, on my days off at Nordstrom, I'd go to my family's financial office, to help in any way I could. After a year in fashion retail, I interned for 3 years in financial services then made the leap, full-time, as I saw how each client (as with each generation) had similar financial challenges in how they saved their money. 

If you had to answer honestly…How much money are you WILLING to LOSE in your 401k? They'd say: "Well NOTHING of course!" Exactly! So do you see that what you WANT is NOT congruent with what you have, because what you have was never designed to PROTECT your principal, I'd say. 

They had great intentions, but they're just in the WRONG vehicle to achieve what they’re trying to accomplish.
